Die Casting Services

LangHe offers high-quality die casting services for precision metal components. We provide cost-effective solutions for prototypes, small runs, and large-scale production, ensuring fast turnaround times and exceptional accuracy.

What is Die Casting?

Die casting is a metal casting process in which molten metal is injected into a mold (called a die) under high pressure. The metal is forced into the die cavity, which is precisely shaped to produce a specific component. Once the metal cools and solidifies, the mold is opened, and the finished part is removed.

This process is commonly used for producing high volumes of intricate and detailed parts, typically from non-ferrous metals like aluminum, zinc, magnesium, and copper alloys.

Die casting can be done using different methods, such as hot chamber die casting (for metals with lower melting points) and cold chamber die casting (for metals with higher melting points).

What is Die Casting

Types of Die Casting Processes

Langhe offering focuses on the two leading types of die casting services: hot chamber casting and cold chamber casting. Both types can produce parts with complex geometry, close tolerances, and robust mechanical properties.

Hot Chamfer Die Casting

Hot Chamfer Die Casting

This is highly efficient for metals with lower melting points such as zinc and magnesium. It features a furnace integrated with the casting machine, allowing quick and continuous cycling. The molten metal is injected directly from the heated chamber into the mold, making it ideal for manufacturing components that demand precise dimensional accuracy and superior mechanical properties.

Cold Chamfer Die Casting

Cold Chamfer Die Casting

Cold chamber die casting is ideal for high-melting-point metals like aluminum and copper alloys. In this process, molten metal is manually poured into a cold chamber before injection. This approach protects the machinery from extreme heat, improving durability and performance. It is especially suited for producing large, robust parts with intricate designs and excellent strength.

Advantages of Die Casting

It is a versatile and efficient manufacturing process widely recognized for producing intricate, high-precision metal parts. Below are some of the primary benefits of die-casting:

Advantages of Die Casting

Die Casting Metal Materials

At LangHe, we use a variety of metals to produce components to your exact specifications. Some die-casting alloy material options include:

Aluminum Die Casting

Aluminum is a lightweight yet strong material, Its ability to withstand high stress and corrosion, makes aluminum die-casting ideal for components that require durability and minimal weight.

Zinc Die Casting

Zinc is renowned for its toughness and ability to achieve precise, high-tolerance castings. It is perfect for producing intricate designs and durable components, offering superior strength and excellent corrosion resistance.

Magnesium Die Casting

As the lightest structural metal, magnesium provides an exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio, making it ideal for weight-sensitive applications in industries like automotive and aerospace.
