Types of CNC Turning Services

LangHe’s CNC turning services offer an extensive process range, capable of handling diverse rotary surface machining requirements.

Cylindrical Turning
Cylindrical Turning

A process that uniformly reduces the diameter of the workpiece to ensure a consistent cutting diameter.

Taper Turning
Taper Turning

Involves creating a tapered shape by gradually reducing the diameter of the workpiece.

Grooving
Grooving

A turning process that forms a narrow cavity by pressing a shaped tool into the workpiece.

Parting
Parting

This process removes a section from the original workpiece by gouging.

Threading
Threading

Creates grooves on the workpiece to enable it to be screwed into other objects.

Knurling
Knurling

A process that cuts a serrated pattern into the workpiece to provide extra grip.

Spherical Generation
Spherical Generation

Creates a perfect spherical shape by reducing the diameter to zero around a fixed axis.

Boring
Boring

A single-point tool is used to enlarge the diameter of an existing hole with precision along the workpiece’s axis.

What is CNC Turning?

CNC turning is a precise and efficient subtractive manufacturing process widely used in modern manufacturing. In CNC turning, a cutting tool removes material from a rotating workpiece, shaping it into the desired geometry. The workpiece is securely mounted on a lathe spindle that rotates at high speeds, while the cutting tool moves along predefined paths, enabling the creation of cylindrical shapes, grooves, threads, and other intricate features.

At LangHe’s CNC turning center, we excel in crafting intricate, precision-engineered custom parts using advanced CNC lathes. Our expertise allows us to deliver high-quality CNC-turned components in both metal and plastic, perfectly suited for rapid prototyping, and low-volume or mass production production needs.

What is CNC Turning
